Janet and I met each other in Nexus. We're the same age – both 44 and we've been together now for 3 years. Our interests are varied from both giving and going to dinner parties to walking along the sea shore even if it's raining (we live close to the coast). There are times though when we both feel that it would be nice to go out with friends. It would be nice to perhaps have like minded company when we go on holiday. I'm a widower who has been a Nexus member in England for several years. I've always fancied living in a warmer climate so – having no ties (my late wife and I were childless), when I decided to retire I also moved to this sunny country. I play the piano (brought it over with me), go walking with my dog, watch films that have a beginning a middle and an end and in general keep myself well occupied. It would be nice to meet other English speaking people of all ages and I'm hoping you'll think it would be nice to meet me. Call any time.

I am entertaining Nexus members from the UK during January and intend hosting a party for them – and you if you'd like to come – do let me know in plenty of time – entrance fee is a bottle of wine, plate of food and, of course your membership card.

HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION TO RENT, NORMANDY, FRANCE
I am an ex-pat residing in France. I am based in Normandy and have a small cottage to let in the grounds of my house. The cottage accommodation includes 2 double bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, shower room and living area. I also have a private pool. I would be more than willing to let my cottage to fellow Nexus members at a discounted rate of £200 per week. I will also be happy to accompany you should you wish to be shown the village and surrounding areas. If you are interested please contact me.

HOLIDAY COMPANIONS REQUIRED
Holiday companion required to accompany a 46 year old fun-loving lady on a 2 week holiday – Spain, France or maybe further afield. The more the merrier – let's try and get a group of us together! Any ideas?

Having renovated an old farm house over the past 5 years, I can pretty much turn my hand to any DIY task, from building a wall, painting and decorating to gardening or giving general advice on the subject.
